Transmute is a daily element-combining puzzle game built and operated by DevX100 ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy is specific to the Transmute game and explains what information it does — and does not — collect. It applies to Transmute wherever you play it, including the web version and any mobile app version distributed through an app store. For DevX100’s general website, see our main Privacy Policy.
Transmute does not have an account system, does not ask for your name, email, or any personal information, and does not run any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Your game progress is saved only in your browser’s local storage, on your own device. We never see it, receive it, or store a copy of it anywhere.
We collect no personal information. Transmute has no login, no forms, and no server that your data is sent to. The only data the game creates is stored locally on your device via your browser’s localStorage, and consists entirely of:
None of this identifies you personally, and none of it ever leaves your device.
Transmute itself does not set cookies and does not use any tracking technology, fingerprinting, or advertising identifiers. As with any website, the hosting provider serving the page may keep standard, aggregate server access logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability purposes — this is infrastructure-level logging common to all web hosting, not something Transmute itself collects or has access to.
Transmute does not currently integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services. If that ever changes, we will update this policy before the change ships, and describe exactly what the service collects and why.
We don’t share or sell your information, because we don’t collect any to begin with. There is nothing on our servers to share, subpoena, or breach — your progress exists only in your own browser.
Because your progress lives entirely in your browser, you are always in full control of it. Clearing your browser’s site data for this page (or uninstalling the app, if you’re on a mobile app version) permanently and immediately deletes all of it. There is no account to close and no request to file — deleting the local data is the same as deleting your data.
Transmute is designed to be playable by a wide age range, including players under 18. Because the game collects no personal information from any player, of any age, it does not knowingly or unknowingly gather data that would raise concerns under COPPA or similar children’s privacy laws. Parents or guardians with questions are welcome to contact us using the details below.
If Transmute is distributed as a native mobile app through an app store, this same policy applies. A native build may request minimal device permissions — for example, vibration/haptic feedback on supported devices — solely to enhance game feel. These permissions do not collect, store, or transmit any information about you.
If Transmute’s data practices ever change — for instance, if we add optional cloud sync or analytics in the future — we will update this page and change the “Last Updated” date above before that change takes effect. We will not retroactively apply a looser policy to data collected under this one, because under this one, none is collected.
